Florence J. Karch (nee Lehn) 91, of Milwaukee, WI was called to Heaven on September 8, 2017. Florence was born to John and Olga Lehn on October 17, 1925. She grew up on her family farm in Slinger, WI before marrying Jerome Karch and moving to Milwaukee where they raised their four daughters in the home they built and lived in for 61 years. Florence took care of many children at her home and always welcomed anyone who needed a place to stay. Relatives and friends will never forget the great parties that she hosted there. Florence had the greatest smile and the kindest heart. She retired from Continental Can Company where she made many life long friends. Florence enjoyed gathering at dances with her Northwest Senior Center friends. Florence is preceded in death by her husband Jerry, sisters Gloria and Gertrude, brother Raymond, beloved grandson Dustin Allen, son-in-law Billy Allen, dear sister-in-law, several brothers-in-law and many dear friends. She is survived by her loving daughters, Susan Karch (Rich), Robin Allen (Lee), Lori Anderson (Lance) and Rochelle Karch (Glenn), grandchildren, Mellissa (John), Dana (Tara), Ryan (Jennifer), 8 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren, sister Darlene Miller and many other relatives and friends. Mom’s angel of a caregiver Dorothy became a very good friend to both her and her family. We would like to thank the many caregivers at Linden Grove who gave her extra loving attention. Florence was a lifelong member of Salem Lutheran Church, 6840 N. 107th Street, Milwaukee, WI where services will be held on Tuesday September 12th, visitation from 4 p.m. until time of service at 6 p.m. Burial at Wisconsin Memorial Park Wednesday, September 13th at 10:00 a.m.
